Two New Years Resolutions(?) have been accomplished

At the beginning of the year, I didn't have any New Years Resolutions. I never have. I don't really believe in them either. However, this year, two goals somehow got their way into my brain.

One of the goals was to ask Ms. Eddy, the choir teacher, to see if I could maybe start conduction, like Sophie Doemer and Gabe Gamboa, next year. Now, I'm not good at isolating people to speak to them. But I unconsciously saw an opportunity last Friday, and my dream came true. Now I get to start my conducting training this year, and I might be able to conduct one of our pieces at the Spring Choral Concert!

My second goal was to ask Dino (the god of lighting and anything in tech in general) if I could stage manage the next musical. I was more nervous to talk to Dino than Ms. Eddy, but I knew that I had to do it in order to stage manage the next musical. On Saturday, I had to arrive at Addams Family rehearsal 2 hours early, and so I was planning to ask him there. After all, I was going to help him for the next 2 hours. Eventually, as I was helping Ms. Robinson with the prop tables, I sneaked into the conversation the subject of stage managing. I asked her instead if I could stage manage the next musical, and she, to my delight, said of course I could. And so now I will be stage managing the next musical.
